The History of Rolex

The history of Rolex can be traced back to 1905 when Hans Wilsdorf and Alfred Davis established Wilsdorf and Davis, a company that distributed timepieces. In 1908, they registered the trademark "Rolex" and began producing their own watches. Over the years, Rolex has become one of the world's most well-known luxury watch brands, renowned for its precision, durability, and timeless design.

In 1945, Rolex introduced the "Datejust," the world's first wristwatch with an automatic date display, which quickly became one of their most popular models.

In the 1950s, Rolex expanded its product line to include sport watches, such as the "Submariner," designed for deep-sea diving, and the "GMT-Master," designed for air travel.
